Colin Gray

Biography

Colin Gray joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2008. He has previously worked in the British Embassy to the Republic of Korea and has served as Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General in Lima since September 2017.

A former journalist, Colin has spent much of his career working in communications, and holds an Advanced Certificate in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Colin’s most recent post in London saw him lead the UN team, where he oversaw coordination of Security Council business, UN reform and the annual UN General Assembly. He has also worked on EU business as Desk Officer for Gibraltar.

Colin is from Perth, Scotland. He speaks English, Korean and Spanish. He is married and has a daughter.
