Secretary of State for Wales David Jones has today [20 September 2012] extended his congratulations to Beth Coslett from Penarth on her Young Woman of Business Award.

Ms Coslett runs Glamour Fix, an express beauty service which delivers professional hair and make-up artistry based in Cardiff. She won the award for her drive and determination, and impressed with her business prowess.

The Young Woman of Business Award, set up this year, has been initiated by Annette Burgess who is the MD of a rural Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in Powys.

The scheme is designed to assist women aged 18-35 in Wales to start up or develop their own business.

Secretary of State for Wales David Jones said:

“I would like to congratulate Beth on her award. She is a prime example of what hard work and dedication can achieve and is a well deserved winner.

“Programs such as the Young Woman of Business are a great way to highlight and support young entrepreneurs - I have already expressed a strong view on wanting Wales’ economy to grow and hope that by recognising this program and award, it will encourage more young women in Wales to develop great ideas.”
