The government published a summary of the comments received and its response to this consultation on 10 March 2022. It also published the final draft of the Occupational Pension Schemes (Fraud Compensation Levy)(Amendment) Regulations 2022.

The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on a proposed change to the Fraud Compensation Levy (FCL) ceiling for the levy year 2022 to 2023 onwards.

A full description of the FCL, and the Fraud Compensation Fund (FCF) to which it relates, can be found in paragraph 12 of the consultation document.

The proposed change is outlined in paragraphs 25 to 29.
