This page includes the accession protocol of the United Kingdom to the CPTPP and all associated documents, as well as the original CPTPP and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) texts. The CPTPP largely incorporates the provisions set out in the TPP, with a small number of provisions suspended upon entry into force of the CPTPP.

CPTPP

CPTPP is a free trade agreement that was signed on 8 March 2018 in Santiago, Chile, by 11 countries.

Consolidated TPP agreement text

The original TPP was signed by ministers from the TPP Countries on 4 February 2016 in Auckland, New Zealand. Certain provisions of the TPP have been suspended by the CPTPP.

Accession protocol of the United Kingdom to the CPTPP

The accession protocol outlines the terms and conditions upon which the UK will accede to the CPTPP as the 12th Party.
