The product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of the relevant standard. The size and location of the pins can cause distortion on the connections inside the socket outlet, which leads to resistive heating and potentially ignition. The pins were also too close to the edge of the plug, allowing access to live parts when unplugging, or plugging in, the plug to the socket, presenting a risk of electric shock.
