Hazard

The product presents a high risk of injuries as it is not fitted with a sufficient guard meaning that users may access fast-moving blades when in use and injure fingers, hands or other extremities. The internal build quality was poor with poor quality connections. The product failed the earth bond test as it was found the earth wire was cut as the mains power entered the product. The fuse did not contain ballast, therefore presenting a risk of fire/explosion. The product also required improvements to marking, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
