Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it incorporates an in-line switch which is not suitable for outside use. The supply cord is also insufficiently insulated with an insufficient cross-sectional area, and the product is inadequately earthed with the fuse containing no filler. It is possible that the product could become live any person touching accessible metal parts of the product could receive an electric shock. The product also requires improvement to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets, etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
