Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the internal components were accessed by unscrewing security screws on the outside of the casting. The internal build quality was poor, as the connections to the mains socket outlets were only made using solder, which when used alone is not considered to be a reliable form of connection. Therefore, the earth connection and the two poles were not reliably connected and there are potential hazards of fire/explosion and electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
