Adopted EU recommendation FIRE-058. UK approved recommendation on the content of type-examination certificates issued for high velocity vent valves.
Question
The performance of a high velocity valve depends on the cargo system for which it is intended, for example MESG, pipe length, diameter etc. The minimum content of a type-examination certificate should indicate this system. Information about the performance and the test conditions should be stated in the type test report issued by the testing laboratory.
