Summary of the agreement
The UK-Australia MRA contains the conditions under which each country will accept conformity assessment results from the other. It maintains the effects of the EU-Australia agreement in a bilateral context.

These UK goods can be tested in the UK against Australian regulations. They can then be sold in Australia without additional testing in Australia.

Currently, UK and Australian conformity assessment bodies (CABs) cannot apply to test to the other country’s medical devices regulations.
