The Building Digital UK (BDUK) Supplier Delivery Pledge sets standards for suppliers of gigabit-capable broadband, to ensure fast and efficient rollout, optimising the number of premises connected, whilst minimising disruption and impact on the public highway and its users.

The best practice principles have been collated in conjunction with relevant authorities and stakeholders to facilitate gigabit network rollout.
The Supplier Delivery Pledge aligns with section 2.2 and 2.7 of the UK government’s Supplier Code of Conduct, which is set out in BDUK’s contract terms and conditions, and outlines expectations around use of recognised industry practices in the delivery of services, maintaining public trust, and collectively enhancing the reputation of both suppliers and government.
