The Parole Board has developed its 2020 to 2022 business plan announcing its strategic aims and priorities. The Parole Board remains committed to its role of carrying out risk assessments on prisoners to determine whether they can be safely released into the community. We aim to improve the efficiency, transparency and fairness of our work for all involved in the process.
The current situation with Covid-19 will have a significant impact on the timings of the delivery of this plan. The aims and objectives still remain relevant and, while the Parole Board is continuing to work remotely throughout this pandemic, the staff and members will continue to deliver on many of these priorities.
