FOI 22/447

25th February 2022

Dear

Thank you for your recent FOI request regarding a discussion at our Board meeting on 18th January 2022.  I’d like to start by clarifying that our Director of Communications was talking about our reputation and brand tracking procurement, and not a reputation management procurement.  That said, we’re obviously more than happy to answer the questions on this procurement.  Let me answer your requests for information in turn.

1) The total value of the proposed Reputational Management Service contract (including any optional extension periods) in Pounds Sterling, including any VAT.

We’re unable to provide the total value of the contract until it has been awarded and this procurement is still in progress.  The value of the contract will be published on Contracts Finder once awarded.

2) The duration of the proposed contract, including any optional extension periods.

The contract once awarded, will run for a period of up to three years.

3) The contract commencement and expiry dates.

The contract hasn’t yet been awarded, but would run for a period of up to three years.

4) The specific type of procurement process selected to undertake the procurement.

The type of procurement is “Further competition pursuant to CCS Research and Insights DPS RM6126”

5) The date when the procurement process is expected to commence.

The procurement commenced on 7th February 2022.

6) The job titles and employing organisations of the persons nominated to evaluate any tender responses, or if you cannot provide this, an overview of subject matter expertise input into the supplier selection process.

Tender responses will be evaluated by the Head of Public, Patient & Stakeholder Engagement at MHRA, the Head of Marketing at MHRA, and the Corporate Commercial Manager at MHRA.

7) The complete service specification relating to this proposed contract.

This can only be provided after the contract has been awarded.
