This publication is a response to the fourth report (HCP 573, session 2005-06, ISBN 0215029496) from the Foreign Affairs Committee. The Government sets out a number of responses to the original report, concerning such issues as: the ongoing threat from terrorism; the situations in Israel and the Palestinian Territories; the UK’s relations with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates; Iraq and Iran.

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
