  1. As at 12 November 2013 there are 1,990 football banning orders that are expected to be in place when the World Cup finals commence on 12 June 2014. Some of these banning orders will pass, or already have passed, the two-thirds point of their duration. At this time the banning order subject can apply to court for the early termination of their order under section 14H(1) of the Football Spectators Act 1989. Naturally further orders will be imposed between these 2 orders.

  2. 368 football banning orders are due to lapse between 1 January 2014 and 12 June 2014.
