Updated 21 July 2021

Companies Act 2006

On 20 June 2018, the company names adjudicator issued a decision ordering the primary respondent to the proceedings, UK OPTUM HEALTHCARE LTD, to change its registered company name to one that is not an offending name by 20 July 2018, in accordance with section 73(1) of the Companies Act 2006, subject to any appeal. No notification of a notice of appeal to the court in respect of the decision was received.

In the absence of any application by UK OPTUM HEALTHCARE LTD to change the registered company name, the adjudicator gave notice under sections 73(4) and (5) of the Companies Act 2006 on 20 August 2018 that the company name of UK OPTUM HEALTHCARE LTD was changed to SC567361 LTD. This change took effect upon the issue of the new certificate of incorporation showing the change of name, in accordance with section 73(6) of the Companies Act 2006.

The company name was changed to UKOPTUMHEALTHCARE LTD on 20 April 2020. This is an offending name and the name was therefore changed in contravention of the adjudicator’s order made on 20 June 2018 under section 73(1) and in contravention of the notice given on 20 August 2018 under sections 73(4) and (5) of the Companies Act 2006.

The adjudicator hereby gives notice under sections 73(4) and (5) of the Companies Act 2006 that the company name of UKOPTUMHEALTHCARE LTD is changed to SC567361 LTD. This change is to take effect upon the issue of the new certificate of incorporation showing the change of name, in accordance with section 73(6) of the Companies Act 2006.
