This probation instruction (PI) describes the roles and responsibilities of probation staff when arranging unpaid work for people who have been issued an enforcement order by a family court. Enforcement orders are given when the court determines that someone has failed to comply with a provision of a child arrangement order.
The PI covers:
- how enforcement orders work
- operating instructions, including how probation staff should work with the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Services (CAFCASS and CAFCASS Cymru)
