This good-practice guidance is provided to health bodies to help them carry out their role as responsible authorities under the Licensing Act 2003.

It provides a list of PHE centre alcohol leads to contact for details on the LAAAs in your area.

This guidance is not part of the statutory guidance issued under section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003, although it broadly reflects and makes reference to the statutory guidance.
