Richard Crowder
Biography
Richard Crowder took up his appointment as Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan in January 2017.He has worked in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for twenty years, with postings in Moscow and Brussels. Richard’s most recent job was head of the EU Referendum Unit in the FCO.
He speaks Russian, French and is learning Urdu. Richard is married to Hilary, and they have two sons. In 2015, he published a first book, called Aftermath: Makers of the Postwar World, about the period at the end of the Second World War.
