Jody Walker
Biography
In his current role as Group Retail, Ecommerce, Customer Service and Loss Prevention Director for TJX Europe, his passion and advocacy has driven the implementation of apprenticeship schemes and training programmes.
His support of the Get Into Retail programme with the Prince’s Trust has resulted in a thriving programme in stores in 15 cities across the UK, making a real difference to the lives of over 1000 disadvantaged young people since 2014.
As someone who didn’t follow an academic path, Jody left school at the age of 18 to work in a supermarket, joining TJX Europe in 1998, in a junior Human Resources role.
He believes himself truly fortunate to have been given opportunities to learn and develop in role throughout a varied and cross-functional career which has led to his current position as part of the executive team at TJX Europe.
He is passionate about unlocking the potential of young people, and providing opportunities for development and growth which are accessible to all.
