Abstract

The financial services community has long discussed the potential for technology to streamline regulatory activity and bring benefits to organisations. This potential has been thrown into sharp relief as the industry has faced new and unforeseen challenges as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. The crisis may prove to be a pivotal moment in the RegTech story and a chance for both firms and regulators to take a leap forward.
