Third party access to Business Gateway

Guidance on third party access to Business Gateway

Applies to England and Wales

Third party access overview

Many third party providers have created software that communicates directly with Business Gateway. This allows you to reduce manual input, save time, improve accuracy and link multiple processes within a single system.

Third party access to Business Gateway is usually the preferred choice of integration for firms with no designated IT resource and who are happy with an “off the shelf” solution, although a few providers do allow for some customisation. This route is used by almost 95% of our Business Gateway customers. Different providers will offer different benefits, so it is important to review the features available from each.

If you already have a case-management system (CMS), the provider might have the ability to integrate with Business Gateway.

Next steps

If third party access to Business Gateway is the best solution for your company, review the list of providers to see which best suits your needs. If you already use a CMS, check to see if your provider offers Business Gateway integration.

Once you have chosen a provider, contact them directly to discuss your requirements and getting set up:

  • ensure the software product meets your specific needs
  • request further information about the software
  • start the set-up process
