Pre-release access

The phrase ‘Pre-release access’ refers to the practice whereby official statistics in their final form, and any accompanying written commentary, are made available to an eligible person in advance of their publication. The rules and principles which govern pre-release access are featured within the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008.

Student Support for Higher Education in Northern Ireland 2021: Full year 2020/21 and early in year 2021/22

The following persons are given pre-release access to the publications for up to 24 hours prior to release:

Department for the Economy (DfE) DfE Professional and Production staff
Student Loans Company Chief Executive
  Executive Director Business Operations
  Head of Partner Services
  Head of Corporate Affairs
  Senior Manager External Affairs & Strategic Relations
  Corporate Communications - External (x2)
  Lead Official for Statistics / ED&A Senior Manager
  Analytics Manager
  Senior Official Statistics Officer
