Key findings this month

One request is being published this month. The request is being published for Leap, who provides an accredited course that improves prisoner/prison officer relationships at HMP & YOI Chelmsford. This analysis indicates that there is currently insufficient evidence at this stage to draw a conclusion about the impact the course has on reoffending.

The bulletin is produced and handled by MOJ’s analytical professionals and production staff. Pre-release access of up to 24 hours is granted to the following persons: MOJ Secretary of State, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Permanent Secretary, Director of Sentencing and Rehabilitation Policy unit, relevant policy advisers for reducing reoffending and women’s policy (3 persons in total), policy advisors for the Transforming Rehabilitation Programme, and relevant press officers and special advisers.
