British companies doing business in China, or contemplating doing business in China – start-ups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations alike – should have at least a general understanding of how China’s IP enforcement system works. This will help them enforce their rights effectively and mitigate any loss or damage caused by IP infringements that may occur during the course of business activities.
