Details

Three complaints under Section 80 of the TULR(C) 1992 Act for alleged breaches of the Act in relation to the application of the Union’s political fund. First that the union failed to notify members of the name of the scrutineer; the second that union failed to publish within 3 months the scrutineers report; and third that entitlement to vote in the ballot was not accorded equally to all members. The Certification Officer made a declaration for complaint 2 and declined to make a declaration for complaints 1 and 3.
