Published 10 November 2021

1. Request

The client names or company names of those who are using security officers/door supervisors.

2. Response

I can confirm that the SIA does not hold the information that you have requested.

The SIA has a number of statutory functions which include licensing individual security operatives, and are required under section 12 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 to establish and maintain a register of individual licence holders. We are responsible for setting and approving standards of conduct and training and maintain a register of approved providers of security industry services – the voluntary Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS).
