This framework is for contributors to the English grammar, punctuation and spelling key stage 2 national curriculum test. Key stage 2 teachers may also find it useful.

It gives detailed information to ensure an appropriate test is developed, including the:

  • content domain
  • cognitive domain
  • test specification

This framework supports the development of the 2016 national curriculum tests.
