Details

Providers and schools can apply for funding to support the new ITT quality requirements. They come into effect in the 2024 to 2025 academic year.

This funding is to support with:

  • the set-up cost of ITT courses

  • establishing the new lead mentor role

  • creating and delivering intensive training and practice

  • the cost to train general mentors

The guidance document explains:

  • what funding is available, how much and when
  • who is eligible
  • what you can spend the funding on
  • how to apply

The ‘conditions of grant’ documents show the conditions that you must meet when using these grants.

Guidance on forming partnerships to provide ITT from September 2024 is available.
