Freedom of Information request on defective COVID Medicine reports – Medicines aiming to cure covid, increase immunity or replace a vaccine (FOI 21-058)

Thank you for your communication to the MHRA in relation to a Freedom of Information request for:

Please details any reports submitted that defective medicine that has been administered or taken with the aim of curing covid, increasing immunity or replacing a covid vaccine? Please provide the dates and locations of these reports, as well as the nature of the defective medicine that has been reported.

From our preliminary assessment, it is clear that we will not be able to answer your request without further clarification.

The I,E&S FOI team requires further information in order to identify and locate the information you have asked for . Please could you clarify what information specifically you seek in regards to defective medicine.

Once you have clarified your request, the twenty working day limit will recommence and we will begin to process the request. (Under section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), a public authority need not comply with a request unless any further information reasonably required to locate the information is supplied).
