The Fibre in Water (FiW) project was a cross-government project looking into the possibility of deploying digital infrastructure in potable water.

This was a Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) led project and supported by the Department for Environment, Food and Rual Affairs (Defra). The project awarded £6.2 million in the Shared Outcomes Fund.
