1. Name of project
Tema-Aflao Road.
2. Description of project
The project involves upgrading 17km of the Tema-Aflao Road. This road forms part of the Trans-West African Highway.
The project will convert the existing single carriageway into a dual carriageway expressway, consisting of three lanes in each direction. The road will have a central barrier, three interchanges and service roads. There will also be a footbridge to allow for pedestrian movements.

Accra, Ghana.
4. Source of environmental information
An Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) has been developed for the project.
