Thomas Barry
Biography
Tom Barry has been Counsellor for Europe and Global Issues at the British Embassy in Paris since August 2018. He was the Deputy Head of Mission in Paris till July 2021.
Before his posting to Paris, Tom was the British Deputy High Commissioner to Canada. He has also served overseas in Washington and Mexico City. Tom has worked for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in the UK as Deputy Head of the Europe Internal Department and as Head of the Future of Europe Department.
Tom has degrees in economics from Cambridge University and from Warwick University.
