Exercise Trident Juncture sees NATO and partner nations training and operating together in an Article 5 scenario, 'an attack on one is an attack on all'.
Royal Navy warships will set sail through the Norwegian Sea this month, as hundreds of British personnel undertake a road and rail move across Europe. Destined for Norway, over 40,000 participants from 31 nations come together to put NATO’s (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) greatest capability to the test: collective defence.
Exercise Trident Juncture in numbers
For almost 70 years, the principle of collective defence has been at the very heart of NATO. It remains a unique and enduring principle that binds its members together, committing them to protect each other and setting a spirit of solidarity within the alliance.
