Biography

The Rt Hon Sir Jeremy Wright KC was elected the Conservative MP for Kenilworth and Southam in 2010 and was MP for Rugby and Kenilworth 2005 to 2010. He has served in government for 9 years, including as Minister for Prisons and Rehabilitation, Attorney General and Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Before that he served on the Constitutional Affairs (later Justice) Select Committee and founded and chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Dementia. Before being elected to Parliament Sir Jeremy practised as a criminal law barrister in the West Midlands.
