David Billingham

Biography

David spent his early career in the automotive, consumer goods and financial services sectors with organisations including Peugeot UK and Cadbury Schweppes plc. More recently he spent a number of years in senior consulting roles with Price Waterhouse and Atos KPMG before moving on to hold Human Resource Director roles with Serco plc and May Gurney plc. He later started his own Human Resources and Change business and has gone on to lead turnaround, Change and HR Transformation projects with organisations including IMI plc, Mitie plc and Sopra Steria. During this time he spent a period as Human Resources Director for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation(DIO) working on the estate optimisation programme.

David is a graduate of Cardiff University where he studied Industrial Relations and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He has been an Independent Remuneration Panel member for Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council for over 15 years and is an Adviser with Stratford Upon Avon Citizens Advice. He is a Trustee of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Warwickshire Regiment) museum in Warwick. David is married with grown-up children and lives in Solihull.
