Consultation description

This consultation invites views on the government’s approach to transpose the EU Bank Creditor Hierarchy Directive and provides interested parties with the opportunity to engage with the government on how it can best implement the directive into UK law.

It aims to explain the directive’s amendments to Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD) and the government’s draft implementation regulations. In addition, it provides stakeholders with a list of questions to assist preparation of their written input into the consultation process.
