You don't have to submit optional documents, but it may improve your chances of a successful application if you do.

What if I can't submit the documents digitally?

If you can't submit the documents digitally you can send copies by post instead. We'll give you the address and reference number to quote once you've completed your application.

  • I confirm that the contents of this application are true and correct. I agree to permit an officer, veterinary surgeon or veterinary practitioner authorised by the Council to inspect the premises which are the subject of this application before any licence is granted.
  • I understand that the council may utilise the information contained herein for internal purposes and may disclose the information to persons or organisations in accordance with the Council’s registration under the Data Protection Act.
  • When a Licence is granted, I agree to comply with the Council’s Conditions for Pet Shop Licences in so far as they are relevant to the premises and purposes to be licensed.
  • Where application is made on behalf of a limited liability company, the secretary or an authorised director should sign. In the case of a partnership, each partner should sign. Where a solicitor is acting as an agent for the proposed licensee, then both should sign.
