What if I can't submit all of these documents?

You don't have to submit optional documents, but it may improve your chances of a successful application if you do.

If you can't submit the documents digitally you can send copies by post instead. We'll give you the address and reference number to quote once you've paid the licence fee.





Declaration
  • The information provided by you on this form and from supporting evidence will be used by Angus Council (the ‘data controller’ for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998) in order to process your application. The information will be held securely by the Council and will be treated as confidential except where the law requires it to be disclosed. The Council may check information provided by you, or information about you provided by a third party, with other information held by us.
  • We may also get information from certain third parties or share your information with them in order to check its accuracy, prevent or detect crime, protect public funds or where required by law. In particular, information may be shared with public authorities in other EU member states by the Internal Market Information System (‘IMI’). These organisations will use your information for the same purposes as the Council.
  • Angus Council has a duty to protect the public funds it administers. Therefore, the information you have provided or information provided about you from a third party will be passed to the Council’s Finance Division to check whether you have any outstanding debts with the Council.
  • The Council may share information about you with other Departments of the Council and with other bodies administering public funds, eg Government Departments and other public authorities (including through IMI) for the prevention of crime and detection of fraud.
