  • The local authority will enter the details on their Food Business Register. A register of addresses and the type of business carried on at each will be open to inspection by the general public. Records of the other information provided will not be publicly available except in accordance with legislation and data protection. The information will be shared with other departments and Essex County Council Trading Standards to assist in improving services provided by the Councils and to meet statutory obligations. Information will not be shared with any other third parties and will be disposed of when no longer required. It may also share this information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds for these purposes.
