We’re creating a common set of roles, skills and career paths, that every government department can use.
The framework helps departments attract, recruit and retain the people and skills they need. It also allows professionals to develop their career and move across government.
Roles are grouped into 6 clusters:

- quality assurance and testing (QAT)
- user centred design
