Access trader testing for the New Computerised Transit System Phase 5

Use this online service to test the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) Phase 5 and complete practice declarations and notifications.

The New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) Phase 5 web portal will be available from July 2024.

You can use this online service to test it before it launches.

You can:

  • send departure declarations and arrival notifications
  • save draft declarations
  • cancel declarations
  • amend rejected declarations

Any declarations or notifications you complete in this service will be for test purposes only and will not be sent to the customs office.

Before you start

You do not need a Government Gateway user ID or password to sign in to this test service.

You will still need to manage your active transit movements through the current NCTS web portal until the new service is live.
