Request for feedback - Taking Part survey

As Taking Part enters its 16th year, DCMS are reviewing the survey to determine whether it continues to effectively and efficiently meet today’s evidence needs. We invite views regarding:

  • the evidence needs the Taking Part survey is currently addressing for you/your organisation
  • the key evidence needs you feel the survey is not currently addressing
  • the impact on your evidence needs if the survey is changed or discontinued

We encourage you to respond to this consultation by completing a survey which can be accessed here.

We will be keeping this statistical consultation open for an extended period of time. This consultation will now close on 1st June 2020 at 10am, however, this date remains subject to change

The consultation on removing questions from the Taking Part Survey ran from November to December 2019. We have published a response here.

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has published a set of online data analysis tools. These tools are designed to make data from the Taking Part survey more accessible, allowing you to produce bespoke tables and explore the survey.
