Notice is hereby given that:
in pursuance of section 19(3) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 (as amended), and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, Natural England has, by the Wren’s Nest National Nature Reserve No.04 Declaration made on the 10th day of January 2020, declared that the land having a total area of 34.14 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the County of West Midlands and shown cross-hatched on the map attached to the said Declaration (which land was included in the Wren’s Nest National Nature Reserve No.01 and No.02 Declarations made by the Nature Conservancy on the 27th day of September 1956 and the 1st day of March 1957, and the No.03 Declaration made by the Nature Conservancy Council on the 9th day of January 1992) is no longer the subject of a nature reserve agreement.
And in pursuance of section 35(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, Natural England has declared the land having a total area of 50.78 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the County of West Midlands and shown edged black, single or cross hatched and shaded yellow on the map attached to the said Declaration, is held by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, a body approved by Natural England, and is being managed as a nature reserve.
Natural England is satisfied that the said land is of national importance.
