Details

The UK Food Security Index (UKFSI) 2024 examines short term trends that change year on year which could have an impact on food security in the UK. The overall assessment of the trends includes reference to key government policies supporting food security.

The annual UKFSI complements the three-yearly UK Food Security Report (UKFSR) official statistics publication. The index draws on a range of indicators from the UKFSR and other key sources. Where data allows, statistics included in the UKFSI are updated more frequently in the food statistics in your pocket publication.
