This report looks at the relationship between future identity and risk. People’s views on a range of risks and uncertainties are an important part of identity. This paper focuses on 8 areas where risk and identity are linked:

  • future ethics
  • emerging technologies
  • energy transitions
  • communities at risk
  • gender and technoscience
  • environment and consumption

This review was commissioned as part of the Foresight project on the future of identity in the UK.
