Bovine (live) model health certificates: version history

Applies to England, Scotland and Wales

Competent authorities in EU and non-EU countries must provide a health certificate to exporters of animals and animal products to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

Competent authorities should use the updates below to make changes to health certificates for exporters to ensure they are in line with the current version of the model health certificates.

GBHC620 BOV-X: Domestic bovine animals for breeding or production

Version 2.0

Published April 2024

  • Part I: I.24 and I.27 have been amended to ‘not in use’
  • Part I: I.25 ‘Human consumption’ changed to ‘breeding’ and added ‘production’
  • Part I: I.28 all headings deleted and replaced with new headings.
  • AH/T117 point (d) : removed references to epizootic haemorrhagic disease throughout and added a table for vaccinations
  • AH/T117 point (d) (i): added “and the animals have been kept in that territory for at least 60 days”
  • AH/T117 point (d) (iii): replaced “present in the source population as demonstrated through a surveillance programme in an area with a 150km radius around the holding(s) of origin described under box reference I.11.” with “officially reported anywhere in the whole territory during at least the preceding 24 months” And added “as demonstrated through a surveillance programme”
