This guidance provides information and outlines the written examination syllabuses for workboats, leading to the issue of a UK Certificate of Competency.
This is guidance to all Owners, Masters, Officers, Ratings and those concerned with maritime training. This guidance should be read with with MGN 496 and replaces the syllabuses published on UK seafarer careers: Training provision, information and examination syllabuses.
