Only invited applicants can apply for round 2 of the Improving Farm Productivity grant.

Round 2 of the Improving Farm Productivity grant is for capital items to improve farm and horticulture productivity.

Grant value:
between £25,000 and £500,000 for robotic or automatic equipment.
between £15,000 and £100,000 for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Who can apply

You can apply for a grant if you’re a farmer or horticulturalist in England. Contractors can also apply if they have a registered business address in England.

When you can apply 

You have until 11.59pm on 31 July 2025 to submit your full application.

  3. Complete your application and email it with any supporting documents to ftf@rpa.gov.uk

If your application is successful, the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will send you a grant funding agreement (GFA).
