This guidance provides information and outlines the oral examination syllabus for fishing vessel Engineering Officers, leading to the issue of a UK Certificate of Competency.
This is guidance to all Owners, Masters, Officers, Ratings and those concerned with maritime training. This guidance should be read with with MGN 411, MIN 690 - Amendment 1 and replaces the syllabuses published on UK seafarer careers: Training provision, information and examination syllabuses.
